Certificate III in Basic Health Care

HLT31220
Our Cert III Basic Health Care qualification provides you with that little bit extra when it comes to clinical understanding and action.

Starting off by gaining an understanding of human anatomy and how it is supposed to function, we then turn our focus on how to identify and manage first aid and medical emergencies. This may be a cut finger in the kitchen or could be a traffic accident where you are one of the first on the scene.

Pathway
This Cert III qualification is an ideal way to start your first aid and paramedic journey. Whilst this qualification does not provide a particular job outcome, it does provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to help you understand if a career in the health industry is something you would enjoy. You can also use this qualification as a stepping stone to continue your education in the health industry with our pre-nursing qualifications.

We would suggest you try to gain some volunteer work with St John Ambulance or sporting events to keep building your skills.
